Oga Obinna Thanks Larry Madowo For Paying Hospital Bills For Kimani Mbugua: "Chini Ya Maji"

Content creator Oga Obinna has opened up about CNN International journalist Larry Madowo's support towards Kimani Mbugua's treatment at Mathare Hospital.

A nurse helping the former Citizen TV journalist revealed that Madowo even paid for his card, but not many knew.

How Larry Madowo helped Kimani Mbugua

"I am a cousin to Larry Madowo and he has been paying his card. The other day he was worried about him, he is not around he is in Atlanta. I went to check the status of the card and I was told it has not been paid. He used to send a friend who paid upto last year. Then he sent money to his dad. But it's in arrears. So I sent Larry the message," he said.

The nurse also noted that the money Madowo sent was supposed to be paid from May 2023 to May 2024 but was only paid up to November.

However, Obinna noted that he sent Kimani's dad the money in the morning and asked her to countercheck if everything was up to date.

The nurse then confirmed the card was paid up to December and urged the family to be patient with Kimani and never get tired of him.

"Thank you, Larry, for covering for another brother. And you did it below water (sic). We did not even know," said Obinna.

Kimani's father claims son was spiked

The media personality's father recently opened up about the factors surrounding his son's mental health problems.

He shared that Kimani’s then-girlfriend was the first to voice concern, noticing that Kimani was incessantly talking to himself at home.

He further explained that the trigger for this episode was an incident at Kimani’s birthday celebration, where some unidentified women allegedly spiked his drink.
