American superstar Dave Chappelle was in Kenya for one of the biggest comedy shows in the country.

Chappelle’s performance in Kenya was one of the biggest comedy nights in the country.

His act was announced, and two hours later, the tickets going for KSh 7,000 were all sold out.

Kenyans had lamented via social media that the organiser should change the location of the venue, but in an exclusive with TUKO.co.ke, he revealed that he could not.

"We have had those. One thing we must recognise is that this is the greatest stand-up comedian of our generation. Everything that he is doing is on schedule. It’s not a matter of if we can change the venue now and take it to a bigger venue. For someone like Chappelle, this is more about the arts. This is just the beginning. There is a lot that is in the pipelines,” said Erick.
