A puzzling video has captured the moment when the burial of a Homa Bay woman was momentarily disrupted after tents came down on mourners as the ceremony was ongoing.

The Homa Bay woman was laid to rest a few days ago after death in an alleged murder, as highlighted by her daughter in a series of heartbreaking TikTok videos.

In one of the clips from her funeral, the deceased woman's burial ceremony was interrupted for a moment after the tents came down as she was being eulogised.

The woman's daughter was giving a tearful eulogy of how she found out about her mum's death when the tents started shaking precariously.

"On that day, I did not wake up early. I woke at 7am to take the child to school. I turned on my phone at 7.15am, received a phone call, and was given condolences. That is when I knew she was gone. I could not believe it," she said amidst tears.

Before she could finish her moving eulogy, the mourners started expressing concerns about the tents, which seemed to be on the brink of crumbling due to the strong winds.

One side of the tent where the casket was came down while a section of the mourners also rushed to hold onto an adjacent tent that was also nearly coming down.

The burial ceremony immediately stopped as the tents were being enhanced. The woman's daughter, who posted the viral video, claimed her mum's spirit was probably angry.

It also ignited some comments as many tried to understand what had happened. Many agreed there were strong winds during that moment, while others opined a supernatural reason was the reason for the incident.
