Elsewhere, police launched investigations after a man allegedly killed his estranged wife in the Mirimaini area of Juja, Kiambu county.

NTV reported that the man stabbed his estranged lover several times before attempting to take his own life.

According to an eyewitness, the man approached his estranged wife while she was visiting a woman who lived in the neighbourhood and stabbed her in the neck.
