What led to Cadet Reagan Akokha's death?

Reagan Akokha, 23, was enjoying a football game with his colleagues at Village Eleven NYS camp on Saturday, May 25, when the fun moment abruptly turned tragic. He collapsed and experienced breathing complications.

According to TV47's report, Akokha was swiftly taken to the Bura Sub-County Hospital for urgent medical attention, where medical personnel pronounced him dead upon arrival.

"While playing football at the Village Eleven NYS camp around 1650hrs, the deceased Reagan Akokha, 23, collapsed and experienced breathing difficulties. He was quickly taken to Bura Sub-County Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead upon arrival," read the police report in part.

His body has since been transferred to Hola County Referral Hospital mortuary pending an autopsy and preservation.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise.

Ruiru church elder collapses, dies on pulpit

In a different tragic incident, a Ruiru church elder collapsed while reading the church's history at the pulpit and was declared deceased shortly after.

In a viral video, the deceased goes silent, puts the microphone aside, and collapses before other church elders rush to his rescue.

Among the last words the deceased elder whispered before collapsing were, "God our light, our hope, and our strength."

His family confirmed his demise in an obituary, stating that they had accepted God's will.
