Popularly known as Chef Memba, the young man has been giving his counterparts a run for their money, and in an interview with TUKO.co.ke, he opened up about his career and relationships.

"I have always had a passion for cooking. It also comes naturally being the middle kid of three boys," he said.

The soft-spoken man, who hails from Tassia, Embakasi, disclosed he has never met Sueh and Ombachi but would love to meet them. Asked if he would like to compete with them, he said:

"It wouldn't necessarily be a competition. Rather, I'd like to collaborate with them."

Eugene Memba shares challenges in industry

Just like any other content creator, Chef Memba revealed he had faced several challenges and experienced bullying from men when starting his cooking journey.

"I received a lot of negative comments especially when I was starting from body shaming to being called a Ombachi mwitu. But it's our culture, and I understand them. The funny thing was it was all men. We are so envious and petty it's baffling," he said.

Memba also disclosed that shopping for food and ingredients to use is expensive, considering that he has to get everything by himself.

"Cooking is super expensive especially if you don't have an income or sponsorship from brands. My style of cooking is very expensive in terms of ingredients," he said.

The talented chef who sells his food online and recently opened a cloud kitchen hopes to have a big restaurant in future.

"I have plans of opening a restaurant. I've started a cloud kitchen hopefully it can grow into an amazing restaurant," he said.

Unlike some content creators who eat the food they prepare, Memba said he sells most of the food.

Is Chef Memba single?

Memba disclosed he has been single for a while.

"I'm not married, just coming from a long relationship. So I'm fresh in the market. Things are weird there. Not the way I left them," he said.

He also revealed he gets DMs from women asking to date him, sharing qualities of his ideal woman.

"My ideal woman is a traditional feminine woman...they are rare these days," he said.

Asked about his worst heartbreak, he said:

"Way back in primary school class 4 the most beautiful Indian-Kikuyu girl...long story short I still have an achy breaky heart."

Sueh Owino feeds hubby testicles

Recently, Sue posted a video showing off a huge plate full of raw bull testicles before embarking on cooking them.

Sueh prepared the delicacy step by step and shared an end project, leaving her male fans salivating.

She served the bull testicles with ugali and kachumbari. At the end of the video, her husband fed her as they enjoyed the meal.

Netizens were surprised by how Sueh managed to prepare such a dish, with many, especially women, making fun of her.
