Kampala: Footage from traffic surveillance cameras along the Entebbe-Kampala expressway has shown the disturbing moment a cement mixer truck fell on a car in traffic on Wednesday, April 17.
The vehicles were complying with the Nkumba University traffic lights, which signalled them to stop at an intersection.
How truck caused accident on Entebbe Road
The traffic remained stationary for a time when the truck appeared from the road's horizon down the slope when it lost control.

Its driver strived to control it out of the highway through the right-side barrier when it overturned and fell in the middle of the road.
The mover fell on a personal car as the others sped off.

The crashed personal car was a Mitsubishi RVR whose occupant died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Raphael Okiot, the husband of Faith Irene Kwagala, a Ugandan magistrate.
The Ugandan police showed up at the scene with a breakdown crane to lift it off the wreckage.
Asian motorcycle rider's close call with heavy truck
Still on the roads, a dashboard camera recently made rounds on X, showing a horrific moment in which a motorcyclist had a close call with a heavy truck.
The undated clip from an Asian country showed the man sliding on a submerged highway as other vehicles trailed closely.
He got to the ground as a heavy truck driver came calling, nearly crushing him on the spot.
His ability to make judgments quickly was his only lifeline.
He rose and ran in no time, leaving the motorcycle in the middle of the road.
The truck driver later slowed down, perhaps to check on the ride.
