News anchor Victoria Rubadiri has joined CNN, as confirmed by the network on their official page.

The announcement comes shortly after her departure from Citizen TV, marking a new chapter in her illustrious career.

CNN International expressed their excitement in welcoming Rubadiri to their team, where she will co-host the 30-minute monthly show Connecting Africa alongside Eleni Giokos.

CNN's X post read:

"CNN International is pleased to welcome @VickyRubadiri in a new role on its long-running multi-platform series Connecting Africa and as part of the network’s newsgathering operation in Nairobi."

The international news network reported that Rubadiri would be 'telling the stories of emerging and expanding businesses across Africa and exploring the impacts of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement'.

Rubadiri also confirmed the news on Instagram with a simple caption that read:

"New chapter."

With a rich background in radio presenting both in Kenya and the United States, Rubadiri brings a wealth of experience to the table.

She is a Temple University alumnus, having earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism in Philadelphia.

Her storytelling prowess was recognized in 2020 when she received the prestigious BBC World News Komla Dumor Award.
