A video of a man running through a flooded river that had swept away a vehicle on Sunday, May 5 excited online users.

The speeding water did not deter the man from his journey, as he went through and landed safely at the other end.

His daring act came after a failed crossing attempt by a driver whose vehicle was overwhelmed by floodwaters and swept into the river.

Last week, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki had warned against crossing flooded rivers.

According to him, anyone caught trying to endanger life will be charged with attempted murder.
