Roots Party of Kenya leader George Wajackoyah has openly expressed his frustration after being denied entry to Chief General of Defence Forces (CDF) Francis Ogolla's gravesite.

While standing at the entrance of Ogolla’s family home, the opposition politician stated that, given his status as the nation’s third most influential individual, he should have been granted access to the funeral.

"I have come for the funeral; the funeral is happening inside, and though we’ve arrived here late, everyone who was invited has entered, but it’s alright,” he remarked.

He added:

"The wife of Ruto has ignored me. Ruto’s child is allowed in, and yet Wajackoya, being the third most powerful man in the country, is facing discrimination."
