Former Inooro TV news anchor Winrose Wangui has narrated how her marriage crumbled barely two months after her lavish church wedding.

Wangui recalled that she and her then-husband tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony but could not keep the promise of 'I do' after encountering headwinds in the first weeks of their union.

Speaking in an interview with Kameme FM, the decorated media personality said the challenges that plagued her new marriage were a lack of respect and constant infighting between her and her ex-husband.

"I always say that the challenges we were unable to save could be solved today because we all mature as we age. We did not face humongous challenges that one would guess. Our issues were mainly lack of respect for one another and talking to each other rudely," she said.

Wangui narrated that the stroke that broke the camel's back was when, during a heated argument, her then-hubby told her to leave their home, and she immediately left.

"I packed my bags, put them in my car and left. But the problem was that we were young. Just 26 years old people who could not solve issues," she said.

To her absolute surprise, her ex-husband remarried three months after their separation.

Winrose Wangui narrates having tough pregnancy

TUKO.co.ke previously reported when Wangui recalled how Lizzie Wanyoike supported her during a tough pregnancy.

Joining her peers in mourning the businesswoman who died in January, Wangui painfully recounted how Wanyoike supported her as she went through a tough time as an expectant mother.

Wangui further told her fans that she was struggling to come to terms with the NIBS founder's death as she had shown her motherly support.
