The second oldest of five siblings (Maria, Joaquin, Leopoldo and Fernando), Rafael is one of the successors of his late father's company, Ferrovial, S.A. Rafael's billionaire father, Rafael del Pino y Moreno, founded the firm in 1952 as a railroad construction company, which has eventually turned into Spain's biggest infrastructure construction and management company.
