Richard Peery is an American entrepreneur who has a net worth of $2.2 billion. A renowned Silicon Valley real estate developer today, Richard "Dick" Peery made his wealth in real estate. He accumulated his initial riches when he teamed up with John Arrillaga to turn orange groves, which the two bought in the 1960s, into office parks for the flourishing tech industry. It was in 2006 that Peery and Arrillaga sold a big area of buildings for $1.1 billion, but they still kept a minor portion for themselves. Google is one of their major leaseholders, occupying a total rent area of 15 of Peery Arrillaga's buildings.
