The grandson of Lee Byung-Chul, Samsung's late founder, Lee Jay-Hyun is one of the key people of the CJ Group, a South Korean conglomerate holding company that separated from Samsung in 1997 to become country's biggest food processor before eventually moving into entertainment and pharmaceuticals, as well as home shopping and logistics. A graduate of Korea University, Lee Jay-Hyun currently serves as a chairman of the CJ Group along with Sohn Kyung-Shik, also a chairman, whereas Lee Gwan-Hoon is the CEO of the company.
