Veteran Radio Maisha presenter Ann Njogu is making headlines after she threatened a fan live on air for allegedly disrespecting the station.

In a video circulating online, the fan, identified as D Darius Kipkosgei from Kapsabet, called into Njogu's show, only to be met with an unexpected reaction from the host.

How did Ann Njogu address disrepectful fan?

Njogu, stunned to hear his voice, questioned why he was still calling in despite his previous behaviour.

"You’re still calling, Daddy? You’re still here! Stop disrespecting people, okay? Otherwise, we’ll let the company deal with you as a fan. Don’t go that route, my brother," Njogu said before abruptly hanging up the phone.

While the radio host didn’t disclose the exact reason for her reaction, online speculation suggests that Kipkosgei had previously made derogatory social media posts targeting the station.

The incident has sparked conversations online, with many wondering about the backstory behind the confrontation.

In a separate article, Mwende Macharia announced her departure from Radio Maisha after 14 years of service.

The radio host made a long post on her Instagram page, thanking everyone who helped build her brand.

As she bid her colleagues goodbye, she also acknowledged how her long-term employer helped her build a career in radio.

Mwende was working for Radio Maisha, part of the Standard Media Group umbrella that recently announced that it fired 300 people due to business restructuring.

She, however, teased that she was excited for her next place of assignment and promised to alert her fans.
