Internet sensation Bradley Marongo and his family recently gathered to thank God for his newfound success.
On Saturday, September 21, Marongo returned to his home village in Vihiga for the first time since becoming an overnight social media sensation due to his towering height.

A touching video shared online shows Marongo kneeling as a family member leads a heartfelt prayer, thanking God for his success and asking for protection.
"We thank you, Lord, for bringing the young man, Marongo, home, father. We thank you that you've made him remember home in all the steps. When you return our young people home, we, as a community, exalt your name. May they not forget home. God, you have a purpose in his life. You have given him a talent and you have not left him behind. Protect him from the bad things and bad luck...," the man leading the prayer said, as the family joined in.

How did Bradley Marongo advise Isaac Otesa?
A few days ago, Marongo shared some advice for his lookalike, Isaac Otesa, who had hoped to improve his life by capitalising on their resemblance.
Otesa, who took a break from his job as a boda boda rider in Bungoma, came to Nairobi hoping to meet Marongo and receive the same opportunities and attention as Marongo did.
Marongo reflected on the situation, recalling how Manzi wa Kibera had previously expressed interest in hosting him but declined the offer.
Instead, she ended up helping Otesa come to Nairobi. However, despite the trip, Otesa returned to Bungoma without any major improvements to his situation.
Marongo used the opportunity to give Otesa some important advice, stressing that fame does not guarantee instant wealth or success.
