Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has penned a heartwarming message to his partner on her birthday.

The politician is married to one Gladys Wanjiru and is blessed with two children.

Unlike her husband, who is in the public eye, the mother of two, prefers to keep her private life away from the light.
Murkomen and Wanjiru have been together for slightly over 20 years and celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in December 2023.
On August 16, the flashy CS shared a lovely snap of him and his wife, accompanied by a sweet message to celebrate her birthday.
The father of two described his wife as his best friend and confidant, noting he is blessed to have her.
"Happy birthday to my best friend, my confidant, my love, My Wanjiru kindu wa nii ….I am so happy to keep growing younger with you. I am blessed and may you be blessed more so that you may continue blessing many," he wrote.

How did Kipchumba Murkomen's wife celebrate his new appointment?
On August 8, after his swearing-in, Murkomen celebrated with his wife, close family members, and friends at an undisclosed location.
In a video that has emerged, Murkomen, who was in a grey suit, white shirt and a maroon tie, danced joyously next to his beautiful wife, who was wearing a long green dress.
Both had traditional Maasai beads on their heads, and Murkomen had a sinedet, a climbing plant around his neck.
In the Kalenjin community, winners, warriors or leaders are draped with sinedet during celebrations.
In the clip, the guests at the private event danced to a popular Kalenjin victory song, Canaan, by MC Masir. The lovebirds were all smiles as they enjoyed the celebration.
