Content creator Dem wa Facebook has dedicated her new car to the Lord just days after she received it as a gift.

YouTuber Oga Obinna surprised Dem wa Facebook with a new red Nissan March and later explained that it was cheaper to buy her a car than pay for her transport weekly for shoots.

The happy lass took her car for dedication and shared a video on her TikTok page showing Pastor Robert Burale and another man of God praying and applying anointing oil on the ride.

In the video, the preacher could also be seen touching the car while praying for it, as the celebrity stood behind the car watching and praying.

At the of the video, Dem wa Facebook is seen pointing out at something as Burale watches and listens keenly.

"I am the person many said won't get anywhere but God refused," read the video caption.

Why do Christians dedicate new cars

According to Anthony Omore, the lead pastor of Buru Buru's Church of Living Christ, dedicating one's new car is important for those who believe in the Christian faith.

"It's a way of acknowledging God in your movements; He helped you buy the car, so why not start by thanking Him and dedicating the car to Him? Pastors also anoint the car and pray against any accidents or harm that may come from driving the machines. It is a habit that we need to emulate with every blessing God gives us," he said.

Businessman Khalif Kairo left Dem Wa Facebook to enjoy his car, and she could not stop marvelling at its features.

At one point, Kairo promised to give it to her on her wedding day, which got her laughing and asking her future hubby to present himself.
