Ex-Girlfriend Of Man Asking For Forgiveness With Placards Furiously Explains How He Broke Her Heart

A furious Mercy, the ex-girlfriend of Jack who has been walking in Nairobi with a placard asking her to forgive him, has told him off after he asked to make up.

How did Mercy react to call from radio show?

Mercy answered a call from Massawe Japanni of Radio Jambo, who had invited Jack to share his story about their breakup. After some minutes, the lady, still reeling from heartbreak, called in.

"We met at a party and fell in love with each other. I stood with him and connected a job for him. When I thought were going to buy a plot, build a house at home or make our union official, he started cheating on me with someone I knew," Mercy said.

"You broke me into pieces; you despised me in front of people. Bahati, I remember when I was getting out of that house, I called you and said please stop but you told me I should go. I struggled with him; he made me feel like nothing. I used to wake up at 3 am to pray for this man. And when things started becoming perfect for us, you changed," she added.

Jack says Mercy fed and paid his rent

On his part, Jack agreed that the lady had stood by him during hard times and said that he appreciated everything she had done for him in the past two years.

"You are the person that I would want to spend the rest of my life with. I wouldn't have been the Bahati you see today without Mercy. Please forgive me, I won't cheat again," said the humbled man.

When Massawe asked if Mercy was his real love, he answered in the affirmative and broke into tears.

"She paid rent and was there for me even when I was at home, not doing anything. Even when there was a problem at home, she just chipped in. Mercy, you had options, but you chose me," he said.

He added that the friends played a big role in the relationship ending as they influenced him to mistreat Mercy.

Although Mercy agreed to forgive Jack in a Christian way, she was non-committal about unblocking him or getting back together. She said she needs time.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady went on the street to ask her boyfriend for forgiveness as she affixed his photos on a placard.

The lady used the opportunity to profess her love for him as she stood by the roadside with vehicles zooming by.

Many people faulted the lady's desperation in seeking forgiveness, adding that her mental health must be really at stake.
