Kakamega Boy Who Started Walking To Nairobi In Search Of Mum Returns Home

Kericho- A young boy who left his home in Kakamega on foot to go and look for his mum in Nairobi has returned home safe and sound.

How did the boy land in Kericho?

In a Facebook post shared by blogger Anyama Wa Anyamah, it was revealed that the boy had been footing for four days and had come from the home of Laban Aswani, his grandfather.

According to the post, he was heading to Nairobi to search for his mother, Jackline Nyasambu.

"We held him here, waiting for the chief to hand him over. I later got a call from his grandmother who immediately came for him," said Everline, a good Samaritan who found him in Kericho.

When TUKO.co.ke inquired if the boy was running away from any mistreatment at home, Everline said that the grandmother denied mistreating him and that the boy did not divulge any information.

Bahati Boys High School student shares account with kidnappers

In another story, a Bahati Boys High School student identified as Lloyd Ochieng finally returned home safe and sound after a harrowing ordeal with alleged kidnappers.

The young man went missing while going to school. He said that he had just found himself in a mud hut and later in a big field.

According to the family spokesman, the men were asking them for KSh 100,000, or they would kill the boy at 2pm, but later on, the boy was brought home without money, a bag or shoes.
