Political activist Kebaso Morara has turned to social media for help in locating the driver responsible for his accident in Embu County.

Morara posted a photo of the man he believes caused the crash, claiming the individual fled the scene in the aftermath.

Motorist who hit Morara's car disappeared

The businessman, who had initially called for accountability, expressed his willingness to resolve the matter amicably.

In a statement on Facebook, Morara expressed his concern over the driver’s disappearance, stating:

“In the confusion, he has slipped away and left his wrecked car. I just want to confirm that his escape is out of genuine fear. I don’t want to overthink.”

He added that he understood accidents are part of motoring and if the driver is genuine, he should show up.

Why is Morara looking for motorist who hit his car?

Morara reiterated that he is not seeking retribution but simply wants clarity on the situation.

“Kama ako genuine, akuje tumalize hii story. Accidents happen. Ni hali ya maisha. But akitoroka, it starts looking like something else," he wrote.

Morara’s public appeal has sparked significant interest, with many urging the driver to come forward and settle the issue.

Where was Kebaso Morara involved in road accident?

On Sunday, September 22, the political activist escaped death by a whisker at Kivwe in Embu County.

This is after he was involved in a car accident while travelling back to Nairobi from Tharaka-Nithi.

Morara blamed the accident on a drunk motorist who lost control and rammed into his car.

The incident left many questioning whether it was an unfortunate or sinister accident.

A cross-section of Kenyans concluded that it was an attempt on Morara's life as he has become a vicious critic of government projects.
