Nairobi - A couple has opened up about how they met, fell in love and exchanged vows at a lovely wedding.
Queen Anne Kendi Njenga and her handsome husband, John Njenga Macharia, have been married for two years.
When did Kendi move abroad?
The two lovebirds met a few years ago when Kendi travelled to Kenya in search of her father.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the beautiful young lady shared her early childhood and her decision to make the trip.
"I was born in Kenya and raised here until I was 12. I moved abroad, to Texas, US, with my family. I was brought up by a stepfather, although I don't consider him a stepdad because of how he raised me. He raised me with love and care," she said.
How did Kendi meet Njenga?
The flight attendant by profession travelled to Kenya when she was 17 in the hope of reuniting with her dad.
It was then that she met her half-brother, who introduced her to Njenga during a football activity at a stadium.
"While saying hi, I felt a spark when I saw him. I asked my brother if he (Njenga) was in a relationship and was told he was. I did not pursue him because I respect relationships," she added.
How long have Kendi, Njenga been married for?
The two continued to bump into each other whenever Kendi visited the country, and they exchanged contacts.
One day, they spoke about their relationship status and disclosed they were single.
"We became good friends, culminating in a relationship and marriage. We have been happily married for two years now," Njenga from Nairobi joyfully said.

In another story, Kevin and Liz were married for 10 years, but the most beautiful aspect of their story was how they started dating.
The two met on a dating site when the single mother of two was juggling school and parenting alone.
When she shared a fake post about getting married on Facebook, Kevin chose to get serious and married her.
Their journey culminated in a beautiful marriage where they were blessed with two more children, bringing the total to four.
