A Kenyan woman who lost KSh 5 million after investing in Pascaline Peter, aka Passy Ma Trevor's shylock business, has shared that Passy wooed them with the promise of high returns and zero-interest loans.

How much interest did Passy Ma Trevor offer?

Another lady who was also allegedly scammed told Buzz Room that the policy was if you gave Passy money, she was supposed to pay you a certain interest, and when investors needed money, they could borrow from her at no interest because she was holding onto their money.

"I think that was a catch. I can give you my money, which will come at an interest rate, and you can get it without interest,” said another scammed victim who invested KSh500,000 in the last one month.

According to other victims who've spoken to the media, Passy lured unsuspecting investors to the business by offering borrowers a 30% interest rate. The investors were promised monthly interest, which has since turned into a suspected mega scam.

Police in Ruai, where Passy lived, have started investigations into the matter and confirmed that she has not been seen in her house for the last week, and her phones are not going through.
