Nairobi: Kenyans took to social media to praise a motorist who boldly refused to give way to an unnamed politician's vehicle.

In a video posted on X on Thursday, August 16, Evans Kiarie is seen driving his car while a politician's vehicle, with its sirens blaring, attempts to overtake him

Despite the increasing sirens, he firmly refuses to give way to the politician's car, stating that he will not move.

"Who do they think they are? I am not moving. You're using the road just like all of us," the man said.

After several unsuccessful attempts to get the driver to yield, the politician's vehicle was forced to turn off the siren.

"We are all taxpayers here," the Nairobi motorist said.

Earlier, a man reminded President William Ruto of a vow he made years ago that was yet to be fulfilled.

The Kenyan man did not mince his words or show fear as he addressed the head of state, reminding him of his long-overdue promise.

The man reminded the president that it had been almost five years since he promised to give a bus to Ndakaini Secondary School students.

Social media users headed to the comment section as they reacted to the video after the bold man hilariously summoned the president.
