The family of Valerie Sila, aka Vale, who returned to Kenya from Lebanon after TUKO.co.ke ran her story, is worried that she may have returned with mental health challenges.

How did Vale survive after escaping from employer?

Vale left Kenya for Lebanon after a failed marriage to earn money and raise her child.

Sadly, when she got there, the mother of one bounced from one employer to another and finally ended up living alone and allegedly abusing substances.

In a past heartbreaking video, Vale is seen saying that she was in love and had made up with a boyfriend who used to hit her. It later turned out that the man was standing right there with a gun pointed at her head.

"We later got help, and the agent brought her home. Initially, we were happy that she had returned home, only for the young lady to start exhibiting signs of mental illness. She laughs all alone while in other instances she cries without any provocation. Sometimes she talks in Arabic and refuses to eat," said the concerned aunt.
"She is not talking, she is just crying. When I leave for work I find her in the same position I left her. When she sees me she hides her face. I want her to be taken to the rehab so we can know her problem. I am afraid of going to work because I don't know what she will do in that house," she added.

Kenyan lady returns from Lebanon empty-handed

In another story, the family of Judith was devastated after learning that she had been thrown in a Lebanese jail despite going to the country to look for greener pastures.

The young mother of two was assisted to leave jail and Lebanon for home by two well-wishers who read her story on TUKO.co.ke.

She told TUKO.co.ke that her former employer had confiscated her ID card and clothes as she was leaving for jail, so she came home with only the clothes on her back.
