A young lady who went to Saudi Arabia in search of greener pastures has unfortunately passed away.

Lucy Nyambura's sudden demise angered and saddened many as they mourned her.

The woman was allegedly sick and requested help in a heartbreaking video to travel to Kenya for treatment.

The clip went viral, with several online users sharing the message widely in their efforts to help the woman.

However, help did not reach her as soon as she expected, and because of her deteriorated health, she died.

"I have not been able to gather the courage to post this after we tried to engage the Embassy to assist us in bringing Lucy Nyambura back home. The information is, unfortunately, no good news. Lucy passed away on 10/09/2024 at 9.30am at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam.

"When Lucy left Kenya for Saudi Arabia, she was going to look for greener pastures to support and raise her three kids. Unfortunately, the kids will never see her again—my condolences to the family. I share your grief and sadness and pray that you find comfort in God’s grace. God’s grace is the source of comfort, hope, peace, strength, love, and joy. As we go through life, we will experience many things that can cause pain to our hearts," Kiamwangi ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Kung'u Wanjiku Smart shared.

The heartbroken family of Lucy is seeking help to repatriate her body and give her a proper send-off.

Social media users continued to pour their condolences to the hurting family through encouraging messages.

Kisii mum loses daughter in Saudi Arabia

In another story, Winnie Kwamboka went to Saudi in 2020, where she met her death under unclear circumstances.

Her mother, Sophia Bosibori, said the family was expecting the 29-year-old earlier in September 2024 until they learned of her death.

The family from Kisii highlighted their biggest challenge, which was raising finances to repatriate her body.
