Benjamin Nyakundi Ombati is over the moon as his journey to Kisii University for a Bachelor of Education Arts degree has formally started, thanks to well-wishers.

Well-wishers raise KSh 50,000 for Nyakundi

The young boy from Bonchari in Kisii county shared that his dad is a single parent as his mum is deceased. Although Nyakundi's dad tried his best, the university fee was too much for him.

"I managed to collect KSh 50,000 from well-wishers. I visited the boy and did shopping.God is great kijana ataenda Kisii University. Someone promised to give him a house and I will be meeting the guy tomorrow," said beloved cop Sammy Ngare.

"After confirming mambo ya nyumba, the money collected will support him to get a bed, matress, utensils and a meko. The remaining money will be reposted as fees. The first semester, has already been paid by my brother Moseti Nyangau," he added.

Quincy's son helped to join the university

Another story showed how Kenyans helped Quincy Timberlake's son, whose education journey had nearly reached a standstill despite scoring an A- in KCSE.

One month after receiving contributions exceeding KSh 500,000 from generous Kenyans, the teen finally joined college.

Quincy enrolled in the Kenya Aeronautical College at Wilson Airport, where he will pursue a four-year program in aeronautical engineering.
