Otieno shared he travelled from Kisumu alone to seek the aid of the head pastor of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church.

"I have two desires I seek from you. I want to be like you, a pastor, and I would like you to pay my school fees. I live with my grandmother, who does not care about me as much as she should," he cried.

What does Otieno's grandma do for living?

Otieno noted he had to do a menial job to raise money for fare to travel from Kisumu to Nairobi to meet Ezekiel.

He also shared he had never known his parents, who died in a road accident while they were leaving the market and had been living with his grandma since then.

"Grandma farms for people to get food. She only gives me food and nothing else. My uncle, who was helping with my school fees, died," he added.

The 12-year-old's story moved Ezekiel as he vowed to pay his school fees, and the congregation erupted in praise.

He also penned his wife's number on the boy's Bible as the kid wiped his tears with his orange t-shirt.
