Safaricom has also revamped its business fibre plans. The 15Mbps shared plan often used by micro-businesses with up to five users will now include 5GB of mobile backup data and 400 monthly voice minutes.

The 50Mbps plan, which can be shared with up to 15 users, will include 15GB of mobile backup data and a voice plan for unlimited communication for three users.

The 100Mbps plan will accommodate up to 50 users, providing 15GB of backup data and unlimited voice for three users.

The company noted that all plans come with a one-time 30GB mobile data offer for new customers and a free email and website domain for the first year.

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Safaricom increased internet speeds on its existing packages and introduced a new platinum package that offers speeds of up to 1000 Mbps for KSh 20,000.
