"I was just looking at my phone, seated between the driver and the passenger next to the door. Suddenly, this truck appeared, and it felt like it was losing control. Then, as our matatu driver was trying to escape a pothole, the truck rammed into us, and all I remember was hearing this loud bang," he told this writer.

How Londiani crash happened

The teacher said he saw an ugly scene in the moment after the crash happened; he recalled witnessing the chilling moment when the driver died after an impact with the steering wheel.

He also caught a glimpse of the bodies of those passengers who had died and others with serious injuries.

"But then I fell unconscious, and I would only wake up at the time when the now-viral video was taken when the good samaritans found me in the wreckage. I could not know what was happening but indeed that day I saw the hand of God," he said.

Daniel was taken to a hospital in Muhoroni and was treated for the minor injuries that he sustained.

"I was also referred for a CT scan to check if my brain was hurt in the accident, but thankfully, my brain is perfect, and I am doing so well. God saved me. I am thankful to Him," he added.

He narrated that he had been on a preaching mission just days before, and he cited the accident as a probable counter-attack after the missionary work he had been doing.
