A video has resurfaced showing the late Zabron Singers' lead artiste, Marco Joseph, acting out a hospital scene.

Zabron singers are famous among Kenyans for their hit songs Mkono wa Bwana, Sweetie Sweetie, and Uko Single.

The soloist left his fans in mourning after news spread that he had died at Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute.

Marco's "premonition" song

Marco is pictured as a heart patient in the heartbreaking video "Daktari wa Moyo," released two years ago.

It starts with him lying on the ground, where he is picked up by paramedics in an ambulance and rushed to the hospital.

"This is heavy for me, but I know it is a small matter for you. Oh Jesus, please listen to me as I explain to you," the song goes.

Marco goes ahead to plead for healing, revealing that he cried all night and couldn't sleep, but he believes God can heal him.

Kenyans heartbroken over Marco Joseph's death

Marco Joseph passed away on August 21, 2024, in a Dar es Salaam hospital where he was undergoing treatment.

The chairperson of Zabron Singers, Obeid Kazimili, announced Marco's death in a Facebook post, expressing deep sadness.

Marco was reportedly undergoing treatment for a heart condition at Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute at the time of his death.
