Morara Kebaso, known for auditing stalled government projects across the country, has hinted at quitting activism.

Why is Morara giving up on activism?

In a statement shared on his social media, Morara said he cannot continue to tarnish his reputation, as he has allegedly earned the label of a common beggar among Kenyans.

He noted that he discovered his activism seems to hold little value for Kenyans, as they have already decided on the country they want to live in.

"I cannot continue to dirtify my reputation and earn the tag of a conman or beggar. Its not worth it," the statement read in part.

Morara has been using social media to seek financial assistance from Kenyans to support his activism projects in the country.

This has reportedly triggered a backlash from some online users who were disturbed by his appeal for help.

Following recent developments, Morara offered to refund any Kenyan who supported his activism by sending him money and felt conned afterwards.

"I have a company to run and a family that loves me. For this reason I would like to refund any Kenyan that has supported me and felt conned," he further stated.

He further expressed gratitude to Kenyans who supported him through his activism journey.

How will Kenyans get their money back?

Morara asserted that in order for any Kenyan who financially assisted him to get their funds back, they should ensure that they comment on his post with the M-Pesa message as proof.

"I will check if it's real, refund you in full with a top up for withdrawal then I will copy paste my refund message below your comment," he added.

He urged Kenyans not to fabricate messages, as he plans to refund the money in full along with an additional amount.

"Nataka tumalizane kwa uzuri niende nipumzike. Kindly avoid faking any message because I have all messages from the day I started. The M-Pesa number has always been 0708985611 so this will not be hard to do," he said

Morara acquires high-end car for his rallies

This comes days after Morara, took another step in his mission to hold President William Ruto's government accountable.

He revealed that he had acquired a high-end vehicle to enhance his public rallies in various parts of the country.

His 'Vampire Diaries' series on social media became a focal point for his criticism of the government, resonating with many Kenyans.

In recent days, the fast-rising activist stressed the need for a public address system to effectively reach the masses.
