Murang'a - A heartbroken man has emotionally recalled a painful moment that brought him shame and pain.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, he said a council of elders visited his father at home to break the news that he had impregnated a girl.

"After a while, the lady delivered. She came back with a child. So when she came, the baby was too dark. So, if you looked at the child, you'd see something was amiss. I suspected it, and everybody else who saw that child also suspected it," he said.

Who was the Karanja's lover's baby daddy?

The man from Murang'a later found out it was all a plan to protect the young lady's baby daddy and family after the alleged mess.

He said the young lady's mum advised her to form a relationship with another man and trick him into thinking the pregnancy was his.

"I had heard rumours about whom the child belonged to. Her father was the chairman of the Catholic church, so she told me she had been advised by her mother to do that because the man who was responsible for the pregnancy was already married, and he was from our village.
So they saw that the only way they could escape the embarrassment, according to what her mother told her, was by looking for another young man, forming a relationship with the young man, and then lying that he was responsible for the pregnancy. So that trap fell on me, and by the time I realized it, the rumours had already spread everywhere," he said.
