Conversely, daytime temperatures are expected to soar above 30°C in the South Rift Valley, Coast, Western, North-eastern, and North-western regions.

Counties to be affected include Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Isiolo, Turkana, and Samburu.

Which counties will receive rainfall?

Areas such as the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, and the Coast are anticipated to receive light to moderate rainfall.

The weather forecast also predicts sunny intervals in the mornings, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible in certain areas. Nights will generally be partly cloudy, with occasional light showers in some places.

Kenyans are advised to stay informed and make necessary preparations to adapt to the varying weather conditions expected across the country.

Why Kenyans should take weatherman's warnings seriously

The weatherman played a key role in informing Kenyans about heavy rains in the past months, which helped reduce several challenges.

The months of April and May were marked with intense rains that saw many people lose lives and property, as well as massive damage to roads.

Additionally, several families were displaced after their homes were swept away by floodwaters.
