A Nandi man, Andrew Soi, is urgently appealing for a well-wisher to purchase some of his properties.

Soi told TUKO.co.ke that the sale is meant to help him raise funds to pursue higher education abroad.

So far, he has raised the initial fees of 5,000 pounds (KSh 857,948) and accommodation of 1,400 pounds (KSh 240,000).

He is expected to report to Nottingham Trent University in the UK by September 30 to begin his Master’s in International Relations and Security.

However, he still requires nearly KSh 1 million in tuition fees to start his studies.

"I need another 5,000 pounds to clear fees, travel expenses and upkeep, so I've been forced to put the two properties up for sale to meet this financial need," he said.

He is offering half an acre of land located in Chepyakwai, Uasin Gishu County, for KSh 1 million.

Additionally, he is selling a 4-bedroom house in Kericho Ndogo, Eldoret, which sits on 2 points of land, for KSh 4.5 million, though the price is negotiable.

"The house is 60% complete, so the new owner won't have a lot to work on," he added.

Soi confirmed that he holds all the necessary legal documents, including allotment letters, to verify his ownership of the properties.

He is now hoping that a kind-hearted buyer will come forward and purchase the properties, allowing him to fulfil his dream of studying abroad.
