Raila Odinga's staunch supporter, Nuru Okanga, has lashed out at government critic Morara Kebaso, accusing him of being a state project.

Okanga suggested that the Kenya Kwanza administration might support Morara to distract Kenyans from the real issues affecting the country.

Morara has built a reputation as a fierce government critic.

He particularly focuses on exposing what he claims are fake projects launched by President William Ruto to deceive the public.

However, Okanga believes that Morara’s activism might be a calculated effort to shift attention away from the nation's pressing challenges.

Okanga also criticised Morara for frequently appealing to the public for financial support, particularly to buy and fuel his car.

He expressed frustration that while Morara receives backing from Kenyans, Okanga is labelled a beggar when he asks for similar support.

"Gen Z staged protests, and Raila joined the government. The protests cooled down, and Morara immediately emerged. How do we know if Morara is Ruto and Sylvanus Osoro’s project to divert attention from the real issues facing the country?" Okanga questioned in a video shared by Rodgers Kipembe.

He went on to compare their situations, saying:

"When I ask for help, I’m called a beggar, but Morara is supported in fueling his car. Kenyans, you are helping him now, but in 2027, he might join Ruto."

Why did Mercy Tarus disagree with Morara Kebaso?

As reported earlier, Tarus accused Morara of personalising her ideas to run his cause.

The duo clashed when Morara seemed to be using the "Kenya Ni Home" tagline in his social media writings and pronouncements.

Taking issue, Tarus implied Morara is dishonest and is out to grab other people's inventions and present them as his.

In retaliation, Morara said the revolution to transform the country is a collective responsibility and, therefore, cannot be tied to an individual.
