President William Ruto's ally, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, has hinted at plans to expose Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for allegedly lying to Kenyans.

What did Sudi say about Gachagua?

This comes a day after Gachagua revealed details suggesting an irreparably broken relationship with President William Ruto.

According to Sudi, Gachagua's claims and complaints are merely lies, which will be proven when the real truth-teller steps forward to expose the deputy president.

"The truth will soon emerge when the real truthful man steps forward. Those who falsely claim to be truthful men are the greatest liars," Sudi's statement read.

How did Gachagua paint his relationship with Ruto?

Sudi's statement followed Gachagua's explicit remarks about the humiliations he has faced within the presidency.

Gachagua appeared to blame President William Ruto, suggesting that the president had stepped aside, allowing him to face difficulties.

He claimed that Ruto's Cabinet secretaries and occasionally people in his own car insulted him, yet the president did nothing to intervene.

In an appeal to the president, Gachagua reminded him of his promise when they took office after the 2022 election.

He recalled that Ruto had promised not to allow him (Gachagua) to face the same denigration that Ruto endured during former president Uhuru Kenyatta's tenure.

Sudi calls out Gachagua over claims he was undermined

This is not the first time Sudi has called out Gachagua; previously, he criticised the deputy president over claims that he was being undermined.

Gachagua claimed that a section of Rift Valley leaders had been holding meetings in Mt Kenya to sabotage his 2032 presidential ambition.

Speaking in Kesses constituency, the DP attacked Sudi, accusing him of interfering with the work of other elected leaders.

However, speaking in Ainabkoi constituency on Sunday, May 26, Sudi called on Gachagua to respect other leaders, noting that every leader in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance contributed to Ruto's victory.

The lawmaker asked the second-in-command to stop undermining junior leaders, adding that he would not be intimidated by anybody.
