One of the world's best hit-makers, Rich Homie Quan, has been confirmed to have passed away.

The rapper was only 34 years old at the time of his passing.

According to TMZ, which reportedly got information from the Fulton County morgue and his family, Quan died on Thursday, September 5, at his Atlanta home.

The cause of death is, however, unknown, and fans have been trying to figure out how their star passed away.

The family is reportedly heartbroken and shattered by the death of their beloved member.

According to Billboard, some of Quan's closest colleagues started mourning him online even before his death was 'official'.

Born Dequantes Lamar, Quan became a household name in 2013 after releasing his huge hit Type of Way.

What killed US rapper Takeoff?

In 2022, Migos rapper Takeoff was unfortunately hit on his upper body after a bowling alley altercation turned violent.

Eyewitnesses said the incident turned tragic after a single shot rang, forcing those present to scurry for cover.

Reportedly, there was a flurry of shots, more than ten before shots were fired, and after the guns fell silent, Takeoff lay dead.
