Nairobi: Umoja 1 MCA Mark Ronald Mugambi, alias Roro has warmed Kenyans' hearts after his touching act of kindness to a mother with a differently abled child.
How did Umoja 1 MCA help needy mum?
Roro was distributing bursaries when the needy mother approached him for one. However, he offered even more.
In a video shared on Facebook, the MCA looked at the boy's papers as his mother watched.

"Don’t give him the bursary- I will enrol him in my programme, and we will pay his full fees. We will do the shopping for him," he said.
Roro said he would ensure that the boy completes his education.
"Every term, you will contact my aide, and he will inform me of your needs," Roro said.
The mother, with the baby on her back, was overcome with emotions and shed tears.
Isabel Waithera said her son dropped out of school when she fell sick.
"My tears are of joy. God bless him. I was at my wits' end, thought my kid would get an education,” she said.
Roro told TUKO.co.ke that the boy had dropped out of the Murang’a School for the Deaf because of the lack of fees.
“The bursary doesn’t offer much, so I paid from my pocket. I have a program to educate kids and currently have around five kids.”
The politician said Waithera had fruitlessly looked for help for her son, who has a hearing and speech impairment.
Roro said that his childhood inspired his spirit to help.
“I was raised in a harsh setup after my mother remarried. She could not afford to pay my fees, and a wellwisher did it.
The best thing you can do is return the gesture by helping people in the same situation I was in.”
