Stephen Letoo Intensifies Home Security After Several Attacks, Laments On Threats On His Life

Stephen Letoo is a worried man after his village home was attacked recently.

Why is Stephen Letoo's life in danger?

A few days ago, Letoo took to social media to reveal that unknown individuals hurled stones at his compound in Kilgoris, Narok county, targeting the houses.

Letoo expressed concern over the recurring nature of these attacks. He described the attack as a severe threat to his and his family’s lives, referring to it as an attempted murder.

In his post, Letoo made a heartfelt plea to those behind the attacks to stop, warning that he would not hesitate to name and shame them if the threats continued.

He also called on the nearby General Service Unit (GSU) camp to ensure the safety of his family and neighbours. The journalist made it clear that any further hostile activities around his home would be met with resistance, underscoring the seriousness of the situation.

"I take this as a serious threat to my family and an attempted murder on me and/or to some of my family members. This, too, is an intimidation of the highest order to me as a person, work and Life. To persons surrounding my home at night please stop for the very last time. Individuals sending people to attack my home please stop for the last time before I name and shame you," he said.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the senior Citizen TV political reporter said:

"I still do not know why my life is wanted so bad amid the border clashes that claimed my father's life back in 2008."

Letoo said he has enhanced security surveillance of his home, hoping to catch the perpetrators.

Previously, Letoo posted a photo of his mansion, mesmerising fans.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the journalist disclosed that he spent KSh 8 million to construct the mansion dubbed white house.

Letoo said he was inspired by American shows like White House and House of Cards for his house's design.
