Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has been working to elevate Thika into a smart industrial city.

In a video shared by K24, Wamatangi said that dealing with traffic in Thika would require elevating the road network in various sections.

"If you want to deal with traffic in Thika, definitely, we will have to work on that section right from Gatitu down towards town, then turn upwards all the way, covering all those important facilities. All the way direct from there to where you have the county headquarters... as you head past the stadium... as you join towards General Kago (road). All those will be the most important roads for us to deal with" Wamatangi said in a meeting with KENHA representatives.

Eldoret becomes city
