Canada-based Kenyan content creator Vincent Mboya is still celebrating buying his first car abroad.

The young YouTuber who relocated to Canada in 2023, inspired many after sharing a video showing his car being brought home.

How Vincent Mboya bought car in Canada

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Mboya revealed he spent KSh 1 million to buy his Hyundai Sonata car.

"It cost me KSh 1 million ($8000). Here you must pay 12% tax, so the tax cost me KSh 124,000. I was also charged delivery amount because it was delivered at my house. Currently, I have applied to get a custom-made number plate which will be coming soon," he said.

However, some netizens still did not believe him, as he has chased clout in the past in a similar manner.

Mboya drives Tesla for first time

The content creator inspired many after claiming that he had permanently relocated to Canada and giving a glimpse of his trip.

However, in a video, the YouTuber showed fans his first-time experience driving a Tesla as he showed the car's inside.

He could be seen laughing and marvelling at the car as he recorded it and explained its different features.

Despite driving in a new country, the YouTuber also showed off his skills as he navigated the road while being guided by his new friend.

What was Mboya's first car

In May 2023, Mboya purchased a new vehicle and surprised his mother with it as he took it home for prayers.

The content creator bought a Suzuki Solio worth around KSh 900,000, and the first stop was his mother's place in Mtwapa.

His proud mother was overcome with emotions after seeing the vehicle, and she prayed over it.
