"Those who want to divide us will fail miserably. Those who want to preach sectarian, ethnic, parochial, or regional politics to us will not succeed in this country. So those of us who have the privilege to be leaders in Kenya at whatever level must understand and appreciate that we are leaders for the people of Kenya," said the president.

The first-in-command vowed to ensure that the Kenya Kwanza regime does not discriminate against any region.

"I also promise that I will work for all the people of Kenya without discrimination. I will go out of my way to make sure that this country is united and that no part is Kenya is left behind as we march towards the future of this country," Ruto promised.

William Ruto praises Nyanza trip

Ruto expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received in the Nyanza region, despite their previous criticisms of the government, calling it a testament to divine will.

the head of state urged leaders to set aside concerns about their ranks and work on building bridges for the country's benefit.

"It's amazing what God can do. It is almost a miracle that the people who were on extreme sides a few months ago, today, are speaking as longtime friends. That is the beauty of our country. When circumstances demand, we close ranks as a people, forge alliances as a people, build bridges and work together for the greater good of our nation," stated the president.
