Media personality Willis Raburu has shared a funny moment with US rapper Rick Ross.

Did Raburu teach Rick Ross sheng?

Raburu was chatting with Brett Berish, the CEO of Sovereign Brands.

Sovereign Brands is one of the innovative brains behind wines and spirits such as Belaire Armand de Brignac (“Ace of Spades”), which Jay Z acquired.

Ross is one of the biggest promoters of the Belaire drink, and it's a no-brainer that he would be one video call away from Brett.

During a livestream moment with Brett, he video called Ross, saying that the Kenyan media personality had taught him a new word.

"Hey Ross, you are live right now in Kenya with Willis. I just learned something that I got to share with you," Brett said.
"What's happening, Willis?" Ross greeted the media personality with enthusiasm.

Brett told Ross that he was the bazenga wondering if he had an inkling of what the sheng phrase might mean and he did.

"You're the bazenga. Wait, did we say it right? You know what bazenga means, Ross? There you go," the CEO said.
"It's got to mean the biggest boss," Ross said.

Did Rick Ross promise to work with African stars?

In February, Ross promised to work with Kenyan artistes after social media influencer Cassypool Capool called him out.

Ross had announced that he planned to work with various African artistes, including Ghana's Stonebwoy, Nigeria's Asake, Yemi Alade and Diamond Platnumz.

He said the project would be part of an upcoming album with 12 songs featuring collaborations with artistes from 12 African countries.

However, the Maybach founder's statement did not go well with Cassypool, who felt that the rapper had snubbed Kenyan musicians.

Cassypool took to social media to blast Ross, questioning his selection criteria and demanding that he have some Kenyan artistes in his project.
