However, when the promised results failed to materialize, he became suspicious and attempted to locate Jefeero, only to find him missing.

According to police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga, the development prompted Kayuna to report the matter to the authorities.

"Police officers visited Jefeero's residence, where they made alarming discoveries, including a dead male goat, a headless chicken, and a shallow grave containing a decomposed goat," Hamoonga said in a statement.

Items found at witchdoctor's house

The police spokesperson confirmed that no individuals were present at the residence during their visit, prompting the officers to enter the house forcibly.

Inside, they uncovered various charms stored in suitcases, counterfeit notes amounting to $700 in US dollars (KSh 90,300), and KSh 12,000 fake currency.

"Both bedrooms in the house were found to contain shrines," Hamoonga said, adding that investigations are underway.

Following the discovery, police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend Jefeero and any accomplices involved in the scam.
