Zari Hassan has shocked fans after publicly begging her estranged husband, Shakib Lutaaya, for forgiveness.

How did Zari and Shakib's drama start?

Drama started with Zari going live on social media, accusing Shakib of being insecure.

She claimed her 31-year-old hubby kept questioning why her ex-over, Diamond Platnumz, was at her house, yet he was attending their daughter's birthday.

The mother of five accused Shakib of being insecure about her ex, despite telling him numerous times that they were nothing but co-parents.

She questioned her husband on what he brings to the table and told women who desired him to have him, saying all the bills would be on them.

Shakib responded, claiming Zari is a miser and only cares about her interests.

The lovebirds have been in an on-and-off relationship and have shaded each other online several times in the two years since they started dating.

Zari apologises to Shakib

In an interview with Bukedde 1, the Ugandan South Africa-based socialite turned businesswoman asked her husband for forgiveness over her latest outburst.

She claimed she was frustrated when she went online to rant, airing his dirty linen in public.

"I'm a stubborn woman. I'm an independent woman... I'm Zari, the BossLady, but, in all honesty, I made a mistake. To error is human. God created us to make mistakes...We make mistakes...Shakib forgive me. I did that due to frustrations, but I now regret what I said and ask Shakib to forgive me. I was just frustrated, and I had a lot going on in life, but no one I had no one to share with," she said.

Shakib praises Zari

Last week, Shakib retracted his earlier statement about his wife, leaving fans confused.

The 31-year-old Ugandan hustler changed his story, and speaking during an interview with Glam&Style on Galaxy TV, he praised Zari.

Shakib said Zari is a supportive partner, noting that she helps him financially at times after earlier denying that she supports him.
