A worried fan of Crazy Kennar has raised concern over the comedian's whereabouts since staging a sold-out show on December 16, 2023.

Why is Crazy Kennar silent?

The fan said Kennar has not made public appearances or released fresh material since staging the show dubbed Happy Country at the KICC.

"Have you guys noticed Crazy Kennar has not talked since his show? As a loyal fan, I really miss him," wrote the fan.

Kennar, however, is understandably in mourning after his son died four days prior to the hugely successful stand-up show.

Speaking during the show that featured performances by Bien-Aime and Awinja, among others, Kennar said he was heartbroken.

The content creator held back tears as he told fans that it was difficult grieving and preparing to stage the show.

“Unfortunately, my son died four days ago. So it has been a very tough journey for me because we had to go through that and at the same time make the show," said Kennar.

Kennar went on to urge his fans to be kind and compassionate and also thanked them for their love and support.

"My word as a happy citizen is whenever you see someone walking while smiling, just go and ask him if he is okay or not. Let’s be our brothers and sisters’ keepers. Let’s love one another. Thank you very much,” said Kennar.

Ahead of the show, Kennar had taken to social media to reveal his expectations.

He shared that he was hoping to perform during his maiden stand-up show in front of at least 6,000 fans.

Kennar narrated that the switch was scary and asked Kenyans to buy tickets and support him by showing up for the show.

His loyal fanbase, in turn, encouraged him to give it his best shot, promising to buy tickets and attend.
