A middle-aged Mombasa woman has called on the government to provide prison rooms that can be used for conjugal rights.

Kenya should provide rooms for prisoners

Speaking in an Instagram video shared by Spmbuzzke, the woman opined that leaving people in jail without access to conjugal rights was inhumane.

"Both men and women cannot hold themselves, imagine if you have been jailed for five years, how will women contain themselves?" posed the woman.

"For instance, a man who gets jailed for five years; by the time he is getting released his wife will have left him and he will be at a loso of how to start his life all over again. But if they allowed us women ti visit our men in prison then we vcan enjoy the conjugal rights," she said.

The woman pointed out that some countries allow their prisoners to get conjugal rights and wondered why the same was not happening in Kenya.

"We are asking our president to help women in that regard so that our husbands do not become gay while in prison, there is a alot of 'dirt' going on," she alleged.
