Octopizzo, Siblings Open Museum At His Rural Home In Honour Of Late Dad: "Memories Breathe"

Kenyan rapper Octopizzo and his siblings have paid homage to their late dad with a grand gesture.

Octopizzo's tribute to his late father

Taking to his Instagram, the singer, recently featured in US's Rolling Stones magazine, unveiled a family museum built in honour of his father.

According to Octopizzo, the museum named Onyango Ohanga after his dad would serve as an ancestral time capsule, educating future generations about their ancestors.

He explained that he and his siblings built it to honour the legacy of the deceased man.

"The Onyango Ohanga museum. Embarking on a poignant journey, we unveil the ancestral museum honoring my father's legacy. A tribute to his life, this museum stands as a beacon of remembrance and a living archive, preserving our family’s rich history for generations to come," he wrote.
"A place where stories echo and memories breathe, ensuring our children and great-grandchildren connect with their roots," he added.

The facility, officially inaugurated on December 28, will be open to the public and educational institutions.

Accompanying Octopizzo's post were photos of the newly constructed museum.

The photos showed the inside of the facility, where pictures and pieces of clothing belonging to Octopizzo's parents were displayed.

Octopizzo donates KSh 30k to Siaya women

Separately, the musician showed his generosity and kindness by donating money to a group of women from Siaya.

The celebrated musician was captured in a video speaking in the Luo language before giving his donation.

Octopizzo praised the women for their hard work and resilience.

Octopizzo then generously gave the women KSh 30,000 to help them in their affairs.

"The little I have that I will support you with… because I have also used your tent and chairs before, and we want you to add more things that can help the community… What I want to offer you KSh 30,000," Octopizzo announced.
