Veteran radio presenter Alex Mwakideu has found a new job after shambolically leaving Milele FM.

Did Mwakideu leave Milele FM?

Mwakideu joined Milele from Radio Maisha and worked there for five years alongside Wilbroda.

The radio host was at the centre of controversy after conflicting statements on his Milele job.

Mwakideu stunned many fans after saying he was exiting the station.

“It's been five years at Milele FM. I enjoyed! Let me thank you to you, the listeners, because without you, there is no radio! You are the reason we do this thing called radio.

Let me also say thank you to all my colleagues, the ones I am leaving behind and the ones who left Milele FM already,” he wrote in part.

However, Mwakideu changed tune just two hours after declaring his departure from the station. Taking to social media to address the confusion he caused, Mwakideu clarified that he remained with the station.

The radio personality urged his fans to disregard his previous exit statement.

Mwakideu joins Radio47

However, a source told TUKO.co.ke that Mwakideu left Milele and joined Radio47.

On Friday, August 25, the radio station teased the breakfast show hosted by Emmanuel Mwanshumbe and an undisclosed co-host.

Given the circumstances, he will likely partner with Mwakideu. Their first show is scheduled for Monday, August 28.

Mwashumbe was also poached from Radio Maisha, where he previously partnered with Shuga Boy.

On Tuesday, August 22, Raburu announced that he had joined Radio47's sister station, TV47.

The media personality shared two videos looking dapper in a suit, denim and smart casual outfits, noting that it was the start of a new journey.

“Welcome to the new journey. The wait is over! Announcing my partnership with TV47, wabebe,” he wrote.
